Staging consists of many forms.  Sometimes it can be as simple as watering a lawn consistently for a few days in order to give the exterior better curb appeal.  Such was the case with this Los Angeles home:

Dead grass and a lack of blooming flora can produce a sense of stagnation in a buyer before they step inside the door.  When attention is given to the exterior as well as the interior, buyers see freshness, a new beginning and their own growth when viewing what is potentially their new home.
